Twenty-something y/o working on embedded Linux stuff for Microchip’s RISC-V SoCs. As part of $dayjob, I maintain some stuff in mainline, typical platform support stuff - drivers, devicetrees etc. I also do some kernel work in my “spare” time, looking after some of the otherwise unloved RISC-V platforms, reviewing patches for arch/riscv and helping wrangle the firehose that is devicetree bindings.
I studied Electronic/Computer Engineering in UCD, but at a few years removed, it feels like that is barely relevant.
I have a GitHub and a GitLab but mainly use the former. I have a Linux repo on kernel.org too, which is used for mainline work.
I also have a fediverse page which is the only “social media” I use, but it’s mainly for keeping up with happenings. I don’t post motivational quotes or gym selfies there, so sorry to disappoint.
If you want to contact me for some reason, mail at $domain will work. Failing that, I hang out on a few IRC channels on libera/oftc as conchuod.
“Unprofessionally” I do a bit of hobby electronics stuff when I have the space/time, but more often I spend what time I have left playing video games of questionable quality or listening to music. Failing that, powerlifting or my bikes:
